Time to PARTY!
Man I need to get in gear and do a few more posts! What better way than to party with the girls over at Market Street Stamps! I missed last month's block party and something was just missing that month ;) I decided to pull out my Gone Campin' set again. Why would I do that in the middle of winter? Because I love this stamp set so much!!! I do have a few of their newer sets that I have to ink up but I just love this one and had to create a card with it. This was my first attempt with copics. Not the best work ever but I figure it is a good jumping off point. Now I just need to practice, practice, practice! Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy!

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge and Some Fun News!
I'm really checking in to share a card with you but I have to share my exciting news! I just got my first request for a card for Paper Crafts Magazine!!! I am so excited! I will have a card in the July/August 2012 issue!!! Have I put in enough exclamation marks? :) I was beginning to think it would never happen. I am over the moon!!!
Okay now I will calm myself and tell you why I'm really here. I made a card for the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. The picture below is the inspiration and it is fantastic! There are so many ways you could go with this! I may have to make another card! I just recently got my first few sets of Paper Smooches stamps and I LOVE how well they stamp. The quality of the stamps are fantastic!

Anyhoo...here is the picture.
And here is my card.
I was playing around with the cute bear from the Chubby Chum Pals set and thought he would be cute with a little smooch on his cheek. I pulled the red from the picture and the embossed heart background represents the polka dot wall in the picture. Since Valentine's Day is coming up I thought this would be a great card for my daughter's teacher. Hope you enjoy!

DeNami Bloghop-Gift Wrapping
It's that time of month again. I love the DeNami Bloghops! You should have arrived here from Tammy's fabulous blog. If you got lost along the way you can always go back to the DeNami blog and get back on track. This month's theme is gift wrapping. It can be a tag, gift wrapping, bags, ect. Because of the timing the first thing that I thought about was Christmas/Holiday wrapping, but I have to tell you a little secret, I'm kind of tired of doing Christmas themed projects. I know gasp, how can I say that! I have been doing so many projects for family and friends that I wanted to change it up a little. I am always in need of gift tags so I thought I would create a couple for this blog hop. I used the Ice Cream Chickies, which I haven't had a chance to ink up yet, and the Cupcake Tower. I cut the tags with my Silhouette, added some sparkle, and some fun baker's twine, and voila! These were really fast and fun to make. I think I will be making more in the future to add to my stash.
Thanks for hoppin' (I mean stoppin') on by! Now you are off to Linda's awesome blog! Happy hopping!

Trigger Tuesday-Fall is in the Bag
Good evening everyone! When I saw the image below for this week's Trigger Tuesday over at Moxie Fab World I had to play along. This is my first time playing. I have to tell you that I am a little intimidated, there are always so many fantastic projects entered for all of the different challenges! But I thought that I should rise to the challenge! So here is the image....
I chose to pull out some of the colors from the bag and the diagonal circles. I used the Grunge Me stamp set from PTI to create the pattern. I created a one layer card (which is hard for me to do!) because I realized that I have created so many bulky cards that I have to hand deliver that I needed to replenish the cards that I could mail in my stash! LOL! I hope everyone's having a great weekend! Ta ta for now!

Playing tag with CAS-ual Fridays
I'm back to share another tag I made last night. I've had this Hero Arts stamp since last year and haven't had a chance to ink it up. I think this is such a beautiful image! The hardest part about entering this tag into the CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week was photographing it. I embossed the image and so it is very shiny. It was very difficult to take a picture of it without getting any glare on it. I love using blue and silver for Christmas and I thought this stamp was perfect for it. Hope you enjoy!
Tag You're It
It's time for me to play along this week at CAS-ual Fridays! It feels like forever since I've joined in so I had to take advantage of the fun theme this week. We had to use a tag. It could be a tag attached to a card or a tag by itself. So here is what I created...
I used some Cosmo Cricket Christmas paper to cut out this fun Christmas tree with my Silhouette. Then I spruced it up a bit with some glitter pearls. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the twine is from The Twinery. I love creating tags! They are even faster than cards and since I am an instant gratification girl I enjoy how fast they come together! Thanks for stopping by!
